Fantastic Scottish band, Camera Obscura is back with their 4th LP, "My Maudlin Career". Although its getting rave reviews all across the board, after a few listens I don't find it as good as their previous work. That being said, I still find it better than most of the crap that I have listened to in the past week. Its indie pop at its core and with lyrics like “You make me go ‘oooh’ with the things that you do,” you will find it hard not to sing along and still find it quite charming. There first single "French Navy" emulates a sort of 60's sound with a twinkle-twinkle little star feel and I wonder just where you are.
